Libbey Driftstone Tray 4" x 13.25" - Onyx, 1 x 12 each Case from Libbey is a foodservice case item for commercial programs, retail stocking, and planned bulk purchasing. Featuring basic and organic shapes with a matte-satin glaze which feels and looks like washed river stones. Five colorations: Onyx (black), Granite (gray), Driftwood (white), Sand (taupe) and Clay. Fully vitrified porcelain;water absorption is 0%. Double-fired. Fully glazed foot to avoid the scratching between the plate while stacking. Our matte is better as this is a high temperature bisque firing and low temperature glaze firing. The glaze is made of frit which is already fired once to be like glass, no raw material made of stone glaze (like our competitors), so the glaze is not coarse and will resist knife marks (like those on stoneware which use stone glaze). Mixes perfectly with basic whites and artisan pieces.

• Use: Please note: Any china with stain matte finish tends to be more susceptible to wear and tear. If knife marks appear, they have not penetrated the glaze. Use mild abrasive gel or powder mixed with water. Rub gently to help lessen knife marks.
